Under the direction of the Director, Total Rewards the Total Rewards Analyst will focus apply analytical, interpersonal, consulting and problem solving skills to assist in the design and administration of Total Rewards programs.  Interact with Total Rewards team, Human Resources and other internal and external business professionals to provide concrete deliverables and participate in special projects. As part of the Total Rewards Team, will participate and assist in administration of compensation programs, benefit plans, retirement plans and wellness activities. 


  • Conduct analysis and interpretation related to the organizations compensation programs.
  • Evaluate the organizations jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions.
  • Conducts market analysis of organizations jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organizations pay programs.
  • Participates in annual salary administration programs, including salary structure creation, maintenance and development of incentive or salary increase budgets.
  • Work with Total Rewards and managers to prepare and update job descriptions.
  • Conducts market data analysis on various positions.
  • Prepare and respond to salary surveys.
  • Serve as back up with administering various benefit programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
  • Respond to standard requests for data and compile, and analyze data from spreadsheet templates.
  • Assist HR Systems Analyst with ad hoc reporting and auditing on an as needed basis.
  • Perform special projects or assignments as required by supervisor, and other Human Resources staff.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures as described in B&GCA’s Employee Handbook, Ethics Policy and elsewhere.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or education/experience equivalency.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in compensation administration.
  • Analytical/mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Effective written composition skills with knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation and sentence structure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with internal and external contacts.
  • Demonstrated professional verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize work assignments.
  • Ability to learn HRIS system report writing applications (e.g. Ultipro).
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient with standard software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Outlook calendaring, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to effectively operate various office equipment.
