Young people across the country are facing tough decisions and lacking the proper guidance to shape them into responsible young people. With 30% of American youth not graduating high school on time in 2006 and 16% of our nation’s youth being overweight, something has to be done – and fast. Why? Because today’s young people are tomorrow’s leaders, and what they learn and experience now will affect all of our lives in the future.
About Brand Marketing:
Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s (BGCA) brand marketing team reinforces the power and promise of our brand by being expert storytellers who drive familiarity, affinity and consideration of our brand nationally and through engagement and alignment with Clubs.
What you will be doing:
Education: Candidates must be a junior or senior in an undergraduate program or a graduate student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications or a business related field.
Experience: Candidates should have previous internship experience, preferably in marketing or another business discipline. Non-profit knowledge/interest is a plus.
Desirable software proficiencies: MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a strong plus.
Time Commitment: 20 hours per week.
