Overview

Company Profile:

Boys & Girls Clubs of America works hard every day to make a difference in the lives of youth in communities all over the world. Our Clubs serve millions of boys and girls, with more than thousands of Clubs at locations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands -- and on domestic and international U.S. military bases. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and pride.

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Young people across the country are facing tough decisions and lacking the proper guidance to shape them into responsible young people. With 30% of American youth not graduating high school on time in 2006 and 16% of our nation’s youth being overweight, something has to be done – and fast. Why? Because today’s young people are tomorrow’s leaders, and what they learn and experience now will affect all of our lives in the future.
