  • Overview

    Under the supervision of the Finance Director the Senior Analyst will help manage all grants. This position has the responsibility for high-level interaction with all departments to ensure personnel and expense tracking are in line with budgets and timeline. In addition, this position is responsible for working with Account Relationship Directors to ensure financial information communicated externally to donors is accurate.  This position will require strong analytical skills to produce and evaluate reporting on grants to determine potential issues.   


    Work with Account Relationship Directors on budgets, tracking of deliverables, and managing expenses

    Work with all Departments on personnel tracking

    Work with Accounting and Payroll teams to make any adjustments of expenses to grants

    Create, maintain, and evaluate financial reporting to identify grants with risk and identify solutions to correct

    Assist with training outside departments for budgeting, personnel tracking, and external reporting

    Work with Account Relationship Directors that have external reporting to donors and ensure financial reports and statements to donors are accurate

    Assist Finance Director produce and evaluate financial reporting in weekly meetings

    Assist the RD team to reconcile any discrepancies in new money or previously raised money vs financial systems

    Adhere to organizational policies and procedures as described in BGCA's Employee Handbook, Ethics Policy and elsewhere


    No direct Reports. May monitor and coordinate the work of temporary employees and student interns


    Bachelor’s degree in business preferred or degree in math or science

    Minimum of three years managing relationships/funds. Must have experience in reporting and the ability analyze and identify trends. Experience in account management, budget management, and program or project management in the nonprofit or for profit industry sector.

    Impeccable verbal and written presentation skills

    Solid business acumen

    Analytically-minded with a strong attention to detail

    Able to interact and build relationships with all levels of management, including C-level

    Pronounced problem resolution skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Must be a self-starter able to work in both a team and independent environment


    Ability to exchange, clearly and concisely: ideas, facts, and/or technical information in person, by email and by telephone. Physical requirements include: sight, sitting for at least four hours per day, stooping, grasping/motor dexterity skills; skills essential for successful communications include public speaking and writing.
