    Under the limited direction of the National Director, the Business Intelligence Reporting and Data Analyst is responsible for building advanced reporting, analysis and data visualization tools for users of the new Club management system. They will also partner with the software vendor to convert Club data from existing system to the new system during the implementation phase of the project. The BI Reporting and Data Analyst will build an understanding of the business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues that can be supported by data management tools, processes, and systems. They will work collaboratively with their team, Clubs and the software vendor to identify and implement reporting and data analysis tools that will increase the value and impact of the common Club management system.

    Responsibilities

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    Data Conversion & Implementation
    • Develop and execute a strategy to migrate data from existing Club systems
    • Create training, tools and turnkey resources to help Clubs prepare for data migration
    • Partner with vendor to execute data conversions during migrations and implementations, performing extracts and loads and cleanup scripts as necessary
    • Support Clubs in data conversion activities


    Report Development
    • Design and build new reports to be included in the new Club management system
    • Work with Product Manager and Support teams in identifying and developing business intelligence, reporting and data analyses that are necessary for Clubs to successfully utilize the new Club management system
    • Develops and provides data reports and products to meet needs of multiple audiences
    • Train advanced users at Clubs to build reports in the system


    Business Intelligence
    • Partner with software vendor to integrate data into BGCA data warehouse
    • Provides leadership and serves on interdepartmental cross-functional teams to ensure that data from the common Club management system is integrated into the BI tools and frameworks at BGCA
    • Provides guidance and independent service on highly complex, cross- functional, and enterprise business intelligence data solutions
    • Diagnoses problems using formal problem-solving tools and techniques from multiple angles and probes underlying issues to generate multiple potential solutions
    • Identifies and evaluates internal and external customers’ needs and abilities in order to provide appropriate solutions

     

    Other
    • Participate on cross-functional project teams, as required
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Product Manager

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


    • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree(s) in related areas preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in report writing and data analysis

     

    SKILLS


    1. Technical Skills
    • Solid understanding of relational databases and data best practices
    • Advanced skills in report development using SSRS, Crystal Reports, Exago or equivalent enterprise reporting tool
    • Advanced capabilities with SQL or similar analytical toolset
    • Experience with iMIS a plus
    • Able to develop the reports independently based on the business requirements
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and effectively present highly sophisticated analysis and findings
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
