Job Summary

At BGCA, our Field Operations team drives large-scale impact and mission alignment across the organization. We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized Executive Assistant & Strategic Projects to serve as a key partner to the Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer (EVP, COO) and senior leadership team.

This isn’t your traditional EA role. It blends high-level executive support with strategic project management, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll be at the center of a fast-paced, mission-critical environment, coordinating priorities, managing special initiatives, and ensuring the COO’s office runs smoothly and with maximum impact.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and tactical spaces, capable of handling calendar management one moment and leading high-stakes projects or Board material preparation the next.

This position is onsite, office-based in Atlanta, GA, following a hybrid model with 3 days remote and 2 days in the office (Tuesday & Wednesday).

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Executive Support & Strategic Time Management

  • Serve as the primary support for the EVP, COO, managing their calendar, scheduling, and travel logistics to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively manage competing priorities, ensuring the EVP, COO’s time is spent on the highest-value activities.
  • Optimize meeting cadences across senior leadership, tracking action items and ensuring timely follow-up on critical initiatives.
  • Provide high-level administrative support in preparing documents, presentations, and reports for leadership meetings, internal reviews, and Board engagements.

Strategic Partner to Senior Leadership & Special Project Execution

  • Act as a trusted advisor and liaison between the EVP, COO and Field Operations leadership, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  • Lead or support high-level special projects, driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across Field Operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Communications, and other teams to streamline workflows, resolve challenges, and improve collaboration.
  • Analyze priorities and execute process improvements that optimize performance and operational impact.

 Board & Executive-Level Engagement

  • Oversee the development, review, and distribution of Board and executive materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and strategic alignment.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Board committees and high-level stakeholders, managing scheduling, materials, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, agenda planning, and stakeholder engagement for Board-related interactions within Field Operations.

 Cross-Functional Support & Culture Initiatives

  • Drive alignment and execution of key initiatives across Field Operations, supporting leaders with the tools, insights, and coordination they need to succeed.
  • Support team engagement and culture initiatives, ensuring strong communication, collaboration, and team cohesion.
  • Assist with internal communication strategies, helping to streamline updates, reporting, and organizational messaging.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Success in this role means the EVP, COO operates at peak efficiency, with meetings, travel, and priorities seamlessly managed, allowing them to focus on high-impact work. Special projects and strategic initiatives are executed with precision, driving operational improvements and supporting work across Field Operations verticals. Board and leadership materials are delivered with clarity and accuracy, ensuring effective engagement at the highest levels. Senior leaders feel supported and aligned, benefiting from strong communication, structured reporting, and streamlined meeting management.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, strategic, and proactive professional to make a meaningful impact at the intersection of executive leadership, operations, and cross-functional collaboration. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at executive support, time management, and strategic execution, this role offers the chance to drive efficiency, enhance leadership effectiveness, and contribute to the overall success of Field Operations.
