About the Role:
The Director, Executive Search Affiliate is a key position within BGCA, responsible for leading the recruitment and selection process for CEO roles at local Boys & Girls Club affiliates nationwide. In this role, you will partner with local Boards and stakeholders to source and secure visionary leaders who will drive the impact of each Club. This position is crucial to BGCA’s mission, ensuring that local affiliates are led by dynamic, capable CEOs who will increase their capacity to serve more youth in a high-quality, safe environment. By securing top-tier leadership talent, you will contribute directly to BGCA’s long-term success in reaching its goals and advancing its impact in communities across the country.

 

Responsibilities

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for CEO positions within the Boys & Girls Club network.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to attract a high-quality pool of candidates.
  • Partner with local Boards to tailor recruitment efforts to meet the specific needs of their communities and Club environments.
  • Advise and consult with senior leadership on best practices for executive recruitment and talent management.
  • Cultivate relationships with both internal teams and external partners to maintain strong talent pipelines.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment performance to ensure efficient processes, improved outcomes, and return on investment.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Leadership Team on broader workforce development and succession planning strategies.
  • Be part of a collaborative, dynamic and hands on team that owns full life cycle TA, contributing to both short- and long-term projects aimed at evolving and improving recruiting processes and practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to local Boards, guiding them through the CEO search process and providing strategic counsel.
  • Actively engage in promoting BGCA’s mission and values throughout the search process and beyond.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior-level executive recruitment, with a strong focus on C-level positions, preferably in a search firm or corporate talent acquisition environment.
  • Proven ability to lead full-cycle searches and develop innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels and influence key decision-makers.
  • A deep understanding of recruitment processes, employment law, and relevant regulations (EEO, FLSA, ADA).
  • A high level of organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting technologies, as well as familiarity with social media platforms for talent sourcing.

Here's What Else You Need to Know About This Role: You will manage a desk with up to 50% travel (including some weekends), visiting client sites where you’ll build and maintain relationships through in-person kick-off meetings with Board of Directors and key stakeholders, as well as facilitating C-level interview days. This role is designed to be based in the National Office in Atlanta on a hybrid schedule, with collaboration days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in executive search while making a tangible impact on the future of Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.
