LOCATION: This position is onsite, office-based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid model - 3 days remote / 2 days in office- Tuesday & Wednesday)

 

The Role

We are seeking a Digital Growth Manager to play a critical role in executing and optimizing digital marketing initiatives that drive engagement, fundraising, and lead generation. This role will manage projects across the Consumer & Direct Marketing team, including marketing and alumni lead generation, paid social campaigns, gaming operations, and peer-to-peer (P2P) campaign execution. Additionally, this position will lead special digital marketing projects on behalf of the VP of Consumer Marketing. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital marketing, project and campaign management, and data-driven decision-making.

 

While this role does not include direct reports, it requires strong cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and partners to ensure seamless execution and measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Marketing & Campaigns

  • Develop and implement digital strategies to scale P2P fundraising campaigns.
  • Partner with internal teams to boost participant engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to deliver actionable insights and continuous improvement.

Lead Generation

  • Execute multi-channel strategies to acquire and engage new leads, with a focus on alumni and high-value audience segments.
  • Manage integrated paid and organic marketing efforts to grow awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with email, content, and social teams to create compelling user journeys and outreach campaigns.

Paid Social & Digital Advertising

  • Lead the planning and execution of paid social campaigns that drive fundraising and audience growth.
  • Partner with media buyers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to optimize media performance and investment.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign results to inform data-driven strategy decisions.

Digital Innovation

  • Support gaming and influencer-led fundraising activations, including livestreams and digital campaigns.
  • Explore and integrate emerging digital fundraising trends and technologies.
  • Cultivate relationships with external gaming communities to expand reach and revenue.

Cross-Team Project Leadership

  • Work closely with the VP of Consumer Marketing and other key partners to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive alignment on timelines, deliverables, and priorities across departments.
  • Organize and lead team check-ins, project planning sessions, and campaign wrap-ups—ensuring visibility and accountability throughout.

Team & Operational Support

  • Maintain and manage shared project tools, timelines, calendars, and key documents to keep initiatives on track.
  • Support campaign execution and operational workflows including invoice tracking, creative requests, recaps, and team logistics.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, fundraising, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of P2P fundraising, paid social media, and lead generation strategies.
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing messages.
  • Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Sprout, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Passion for nonprofit marketing and digital innovation.

SKILLS

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Adheres to timelines and provides solutions promptly.
  • Experience in non-profit is a plus.

  • Ability to carry out detailed and complex instructions; ability to interact with coworkers and public by telephone and in person as a member of a team to provide services to customers, both external and internal; ability to perform a variety of duties and to prioritize tasks to meet organizational needs.  Ability to clearly and concisely exchange ideas, facts and/or technical information and guidance in person, by telephone, email, fax or correspondence.  Physical requirements include: sight, hearing, sitting for four + hours a day, standing for one to two + hours a day, stooping; skills essential for successful communications include speaking, writing and reading comprehension.
