About Us

Imagine a place where who you are, where you’re from, or the circumstances that surround you don’t determine your access to opportunity. At Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), that’s not just a vision; t’s our daily mission. We’re dedicated to enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

We partner with a powerful network of local Clubs and supporters nationwide to create experiences that transform lives. Our Resource Development team connects this mission to the hearts and minds of individuals, corporations, and foundations who want to leave a lasting impact.

We’re now seeking an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven Regional Development Director to join us; someone inspired to build bridges, mobilize networks, and spark generosity that changes lives.

This role supports our Pacific region, including Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Regional Development Director, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of fundraising and engagement efforts for BGCA’s Trustee and Ambassador network and key donors across the Pacific. You will build relationships that open doors, inspire giving, and strengthen the movement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Grow and Steward Major Gifts: Manage and expand a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, Trustees, and corporate partners, with annual goals of $1.5M+ in individual giving and $3–5M+ in corporate support.
  • Recruit and Inspire Trustees: Identify and recruit influential leaders to join BGCA’s National Board of Trustees, engaging them as champions who give and inspire others to give at the five- to six-figure level.
  • Leverage Networks: Activate the personal and professional networks of Trustees to expand philanthropic reach, deepen regional relationships, and advance BGCA’s strategic priorities.
  • Create Meaningful Experiences: Design and deliver can’t-miss meetings, gatherings, and events that celebrate impact, foster connection, and inspire continued investment.
  • Collaborate and Lead: Partner with colleagues across BGCA’s Resource Development and Field Operations teams to strengthen alignment, share best practices, and achieve collective fundraising goals.
  • Champion the Mission: Serve as an ambassador for BGCA, connecting donors and partners to the movement through storytelling, data, and youth impact narratives that move hearts and minds.

Your work will fuel a legacy of opportunity. By cultivating strategic relationships and inspiring philanthropy, you will:

  • Empower thousands of young people across the Pacific Northwest with access to transformative programs and experiences.
  • Strengthen BGCA’s national network by bringing new Trustees and champions into the fold individuals who believe deeply in equity, opportunity, and belonging for all youth.
  • Build momentum and visibility for BGCA’s mission through meaningful connections that result in sustained, life-changing investments.
  • Create ripple effects of generosity and leadership that extend far beyond individual gifts; ensuring every young person can imagine and achieve a great future.
