JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Manager, Strategy Execution and Partnerships, this position will provide administrative support and project support to the President’s Office with a special focus on partnerships and strategy execution. This intern will assist with the development of systems, processes, and tools. This position will require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

 

INTERNSHIP TIMELINE: Must be available from June 2- August 5, 2026

LOCATION: Office-based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid model - 3 days remote / 2 days in office- Tuesday & Wednesday)

COMPENSATION: 17.00/hr (Up to 20-40hrs/wk)

Responsibilities

Project Objectives:

  1. Objective 1: Support the development and improvement of systems, processes, and tools that enhance partnerships work and strategy execution within the President’s Office and across Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
  2. Objective 2: Provide administrative and operational support for key projects aligned to BGCA’s organizational strategy and operating plan.
  3. Objective 3: Contribute to documentation, organization, and information management efforts that promote efficiency, clarity, and consistency across teams.

Project Tasks:

  1. Task 1: Assist with creating, organizing, and maintaining documents, templates, and tools to support partnership-related processes and strategic workflows.
  2. Task 2: Support the coordination of projects by preparing materials, tracking action items, and helping maintain project documentation.
  3. Task 3: Conduct research and assist in collecting and organizing data from various sources, while conducting basic analysis using tools such as Excel or statistical software; create visualizations (charts, graphs, tables, etc.) to communicate data insights effectively.
  4. Task 4: Provide basic project administration support through the use of Microsoft Office suite, including document creation and management. 

Project Deliverables:

  1. Deliverable 1: Organized documentation, tools, and process materials that support partnership and strategy work within the President’s Office.
  2. Deliverable 2: Administrative and coordination support contributing to the timely advancement of projects tied to BGCA’s strategic priorities and operating plan.
  3. Deliverable 3: Support of the President’s Office with key projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Education/Major: Candidates must be an incoming senior (undergraduate programs) or a graduate student pursuing a degree in nonprofit administration, business, communications, or a related field.

 

Skills: Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as be detail-oriented; demonstrate high standards of ethics, integrity, and eagerness to learn; and have an interest in working on special events for a non-profit organization. Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills are necessary.
