LOCATION: This position is on-site, office-based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid model - 3 days remote / 2 days in office- Tuesday & Wednesday)

 

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Sr. Leader, Organizational Analytics, the Manager Organizational Analytics leads the design and execution of enterprise-level analyses that transform organizational and Club-level data into actionable insights. This role is responsible for developing analytic models, conducting complex analyses, and translating findings into decision-relevant insights that inform BGCA’s strategies, services, and investments. 

 

The Manager operationalizes the organizational analytics agenda established by the Sr. Leader by executing high-priority analyses, advancing predictive and associative analytics, and ensuring analytic outputs meet standards of rigor, coherence, and usability. The Manager partners closely with the Measurement, Business Intelligence, MyClubHub, and cross-functional teams to ensure analytic work is integrated with enterprise reporting systems and aligned with governance standards and organizational priorities

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

Analytic Design & Execution 

  • Design and conduct enterprise-level analyses that address strategic, operational, and performance-related questions. 
  • Develop analytic frameworks, models, and methodologies in alignment with the organizational analytics agenda. 
  • Apply advanced quantitative methods (e.g., longitudinal analysis, predictive modeling, clustering, segmentation) to understand organizational performance, Club capacity, and system-level trends. 
  • Integrate multiple data sources (e.g., operational, programmatic, staff, youth, and external data) to generate comprehensive insights. 
  • Contribute technical and conceptual input to the evolution of BGCA’s organizational analytics agenda by identifying emerging questions, analytical opportunities, and gaps in enterprise understanding. 
  • Ensure analytic approaches are rigorous, transparent, and fit for purpose. 
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge management practices that support consistency and institutional memory. 
     

Organizational Performance Analytics 

  • Analyze data related to Club adoption, implementation, organizational capacity, service delivery, and system-level outcomes. 
  • Identify trends, relationships, and performance patterns across BGCA initiatives, Club engagement, and service delivery. 
  • Generate insights that inform BGCA’s strategic planning, resource allocation, and service design. 
  • Support the development and refinement of enterprise metrics and indicators in partnership with the Sr. Leader and Business Intelligence. 
     

Prioritization & Coordination 

  • Execute analytic work in alignment with priorities and sequencing defined through the enterprise intake and governance processes. 
  • Contribute to scoping, sequencing, and resourcing of analytic work by providing technical input on feasibility, timelines, and methodological options. 
  • Surface analytic risks, limitations, and trade-offs to inform decision-making and expectation-setting. 
  • Provide methodological guidance and technical mentorship to analysts and cross-functional teams. 
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and MyClubHub to align analytic models with dashboards, scorecards, and enterprise reporting systems. 
     

Translation & Insights 

  • Translate analytic findings into clear, decision-relevant insights for executives, Field Operations, and cross-functional teams. 
  • Collaborate with Insights, Learning & Practice and Data Empowerment to support the synthesis and dissemination of organizational performance insights. 
  • Produce analytic briefs, visualizations, and presentations tailored to diverse audiences. 
     

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Participate on cross-functional, cross-departmental project teams, as assigned. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE  

  • Advanced degree in statistics, evaluation, economics, public health or related discipline with a strong background in data, research and statistics.   
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the private or public sector with demonstrated responsibility for advanced analytics, applied research, or decision-support analysis. This includes: 
  • Advanced statistical modeling (e.g. geomappingHLM, latent profile analysis, cluster analysis) 
  • Using data for improvement and strategic decision-making 
  • Technical acumen for automating processes & data collection 
  • System design/mapping and/or process improvement 
  • Translating complex findings for various audiences 

 SKILLS  

  • Advanced quantitative data analysis and enterprise analytics 
  • Statistical modeling, segmentation, and predictive analysis 
  • Analytical judgment in interpreting organizational and system-level data 
  • Systems thinking and organizational performance analysis 
  • Translation of complex data into actionable insights 
  • Collaboration with data, technology, and business intelligence partners 
  • Clear communication and data storytelling for decision-making 

 

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $86,000 to $105,000.00 BGCA takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training and experience, as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. We are highly invested in every employee’s total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
